Is Rugby Union Boring?
When the head coach of the world champions in a world cup year says their sport is "in danger of becoming boring" people listen.
Steve Hansen is the coach, New Zealand are the world champions, and the sport is rugby union.
Now, Hansen first spoke about this at the start of March. Having watched a round of Six Nations matches, he told Welsh journalists that rugby union is "in danger of becoming boring", and he repeated his concerns at the start of this week.
Sam Tuitupou is a former All Black. The New Zealander now plays his club rugby for Sale in England.
So, how surprising is it that this hasn't come from a former player working as a media pundit? Instead it's the coach of the reigning world champions that's raised this concern.
