Brickish Association Chairman: LEGO profit rise isn鈥檛 surprising

Simon Bennett the chairman of the Brickish Association - a group for adult fans of LEGO - said that he is 鈥渁bsolutely not surprised鈥 by LEGO鈥檚 success.

Speaking to 5 live, Mr Bennett said "I think it's partly due to the Lego movie, which was excellent, created a even more interest, and they are on a trajectory to increasing sales and profits"

"After the crash people stopped buying really expensive toys for children....at the hundred pound point Lego have some amazing sets...they definitely have the right products for children and also for adults now."

In 2014 LEGO sold 62 billion pieces and saw its profits rise by 15 per cent.
