NATO is upping its profile in Ukraine as Russian-backed separatists continue their rebellion. UK and Polish troops are to train Ukrainians while Lithuania resumes conscription.

British and Polish soldiers are to join American advisers already in Ukraine, and Lithuania is introducing national conscription.
