Matt Dawson backs Lancaster England loudspeakers
World Cup winner, Matt Dawson, has backed Stuart Lancaster's use of loudspeakers in training.
Lancaster admitted they had used them for a "short time" to prepare for the cauldron of noise expected to greet the England team at the Millennium Stadium on Friday night.
Players had complained about not being able to hear tactics and line-out calls when playing in previous 6 Nations clashes, and Dawson believes this will benefit the side.
"It may seem slightly ridiculous, but it's (just) the first time that it has been heard of in rugby. Putting GPS systems on their backs to know how much running they're doing, might sound ridiculous but it's where the game is going."
