Phillip Hughes death: Nick Compton tribute to roommate
England cricketer Nick Compton, said it has been a "disturbing time" following the death of close friend, Australian batsman, Phillip Hughes who "had a huge impact" on his career.
The 25-year-old Australian Test batsman died in hospital two days after being hit on the neck by a delivery during a domestic match in Sydney.
Compton described Hughes as a "cheeky and funny guy" who "made the most of his 25 years" and added that the batsman's death has left him heartbroken. The two lived together for half a season when they were both playing for Middlesex in 2009.
