Karachi Police Lose 'a cop a day' Fighting the Taliban
Karachi has long been plagued by gang violence and political assassinations but now the Taliban are also fighting for control of Pakistan鈥檚 economic capital. This guerrilla war, once confined to the tribal belt of Waziristan, has moved into the multi-ethnic, multi-lingual business hub of Pakistan with devastating results. In June the militants nearly seized control of the international airport and more than 20 died. The police are on the front line and Mobeen Azhar gets a rare access into how they work.
