Jo and Hayley: Accepting Fate.
Two mother's share the pain and the ecstasy of having children. Jo has had to deal with the heartbreaking consequences of two of her three children being diagnosed with life limiting conditions. William and Thomas have the genetic disorder CDG Type 1a, which is very rare. Determined to do what is best for her sons, and unhappy with what conventional medicine had to offer, she set up Legacy Rainbow House charity in 2001 to help other families cope with brain injuries and disabilities. Hayley works for her, and helping sick children gave her a purpose in life, when her teenage sweetheart died of cancer. But now Hayley has her own baby, and knowing how cruel life can be, she's doubly grateful Luke is a healthy boy.
