Suspected burglar recorded trying to book a taxi

The man dialled two taxi firms from the land-line in the house at Wode-croft Road last month, but hung up after he was asked for his phone number:


A flat-screen television and other electrical items were stolen.

Bedfordshire Police want anyone who recognise the man's voice to contact them on 101
