Woman Bishops and local church news
Ali talks to those who could appoint the first woman Bishop here in Oxford, there's a new bell tower in Kingston Bagpuize, and an Abingdon church project helping 3,000+ children.
Ali Jones sits in for Charles Nove this Sunday morning with music and conversation from the spiritual side of life. As the church overturns centuries of tradition by allowing women to become bishops, we talk to those who could appoint the first here in Oxford. We'll also meet the man who'll be training future bishops, and hear from the former Oxford vicar who became the first British-trained female Bishop. Plus, we celebrate a new bell tower in Kingston Bagpuize, a special "faith place" in Kidlington, and an Abingdon church project that's helped over 3,000 children.
