Lampard 'upset' at Raheem Sterling tiredness criticism
Former England international Frank Lampard says he is "upset" at criticism of Raheem Sterling, after he complained of tiredness before England's Euro 2016 qualifier in Estonia.
The teenage Liverpool forward was left out of Roy Hodgson's starting line up as a result.
Lampard said Sterling made a "brave" decision to bring it up with the England boss.
"I actually have lied at times, when I've felt too tired, and carried on playing," he said. "He [Raheem] could've started again and got injured."
