Leaders meet to fight Ebola
The presidents of Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone discuss financial help to fight Ebola with the IMF, World Bank and UN. Plus Lego ends a toy distribution deal with Shell.
The UK has joined the US in imposing checks at airports for travellers from the regions worst hit by the Ebola virus. In Washington, there is a crisis meeting of the IMF, the World Bank, the UN and the presidents of Sierra Leone, Liberia and Guinea, to see what can be done. Lego has promised to end its 50 year deal with Shell after a campaign by Greenpeace. A hotel booking website says searches for Marrakesh have dropped by nearly half, after a British tourist was arrested for homosexuality. Police in Britain say people have been able to wipe their tablet's memory after the device is seized by police. And in New York, independent book shops appear to be making a comeback.
