HMS Illustrious
HMS Illustrious has come home to Portsmouth for the final time today, drawing to an end her proud 32-year career.
The old aircraft carrier clocked up nearly nine hundred thousand miles on operations throughout the world, and is now being withdrawn from service.
Well wishers lined the seafront in Southsea and gathered at the round tower in Old Portsmouth to watch her arrival into her home port this lunchtime.
麻豆社 Radio Solent's reporter Neil Sackley was dockside as she pulled alongside.
