Iraq and Australia
Against a backdrop of rising sectarian violence, Kevin Connolly leafs through a Baghdad book stall; on Palm Island, Australia, Georgina Kenyon searches for a good news story.
Although the results of recent elections in Iraq are not yet known, what is certain is that sectarian violence between Sunni and Shia communities is on the rise. In Baghdad, Kevin Connolly finds a cause for hope - not at the polling booths, but at a book stall. But will the incoming government be able to deliver its customers a happy ending?
Palm Island, off the coast of Australia, is home to many Aboriginal people, historically disadvantaged compared to other Australians. Georgina Kenyon heads there in search of a good news story, but are local people and central government really delivering in their efforts to improve the Aboriginal lot?
