Rwanda: 20 years on from genocide
The 20th anniversary of the genocide in Rwanda has been marked across the world. On the 6th April 1994, a civil war reached its peak between the Tutsi and Hutu population which eventually lead to the killing of at least 800,000 people in 100 days.
Beatha Uwazaninka is a Rwandan living in Nottingham. In this extract she speaks to 麻豆社 Radio Nottingham about how the genocide affected her life...
