Northampton debates the Golden Temple controversy
Documents released under the thirty year rule suggest British forces helped in the planning of Operation Bluestar, the raid on the Golden Temple in Amritsar in 1984.
Sikh organisations in the UK have said they're shocked and disappointed. The Prime Minister, Dave Cameron has ordered an investigation into the claims that Margaret Thatcher's government was involved.
The Northampton North MP, Michael Ellis was invited to a Question and Answer session at the Sikh Temple on St Georges Avenue in the town.
