Cinema Paradiso and The Innocents reviewed by Mark Kermode
Mark Kermode reviews Cinema Paradiso. Celebrating it's 25th anniversary, Giuseppe Tornatore's film tells the story of a successful Italian
film-maker who remembers his childhood and the veteran projectionist who helped shape his love of cinema.
As part of the BFI's gothic weekend, The Innocents stars Deborah Kerr as a spinster governess who must fight the spirits of her dead predecessor and lover for the souls of two orphan children.
