Edwina Currie
Edwina Currie is no stranger to controversy – from being forced to resign from her post as Junior Health Minister over warning of salmonella in British eggs in 1988 to throwing orange juice over Labour's Peter Snape after a debate in 1992, she has often made it into the newspapers.
But since the revelations in her tell-all diaries of an affair with John Major between 1984 and 1988, Edwina Currie has been heaped with a new level of vitriol by the press and former politicians alike.
Branded as the worst kind of kiss and tell, Edwina Currie gives her reaction to John Major's 'shame' over their four year affair and explains why she decided to finally reveal the infidelity by printing her diaries.
