It’s not very often that Pakistani cinema is talked about, but for the first time in over 50 years a film from the country has been selected as the Pakistani entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 86th Academy Awards.

Last year the documentary film from Pakistan, Saving Faces, was honoured with the award for Best Documentary short.
