Peace activist Satish Kumar on Martin Luther King
Last week marked 50 years since Martin Luther King gave his famous 'I have a dream....' speech.
The civil rights leader led about 250,000 people to the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC in 1963 where he delivered the speech.
Well one man who has met him not once, but twice, is Indian peace activist Satish Kumar, also the editor of Resurgence and Ecologist magazine.
He now lives in England, but back in 1962 Kumar and his friend decided to do a peace walk from India to the four nuclear capitals of the world; Moscow, Paris, London and the U.S. It was on this walk they heard Martin Luther King's speech and requested a meeting with him.
In this extract Satish talks to reporter Ruchi Tandon about his Martin Luther King story.....
