Apple launches its latest smartphone models - the iPhone 5S and the cheaper 5C model. Plus, the first Chinese cargo ship to negotiate the Arctic Circle arrives in Europe.
Smartphone giant Apple launches its latest iPhone models - the iPhone 5S, with fingerprint technology, and the cheaper iPhone 5C. But will they fly off the shelves like other Apple products? Will they be enough to recover some of the ground lost to Samsung?
Also, we talk to our correspondent in Washington about the latest diplomacy around Syria, ahead of US President Obama's speech to the American people making his case for military action. And, what impact will there be on global shipping and trade now that the first Chinese commercial vessel has negotiated the Northeast Passage through the Arctic Circle to Europe?
Plus, how talk around debt-laden Greece seems to be moving from 'Grexit' to 'Grecovery' - Roger Bootle from Capital Economics gives his analysis. And, our regular columnist from the Financial Times, Lucy Kellaway, on annoying email headings.
We are joined throughout the programme by two guests on opposite sides of the pacific: David Kuo of the Motley Fool, from Singapore; and Bethany McClean of Vanity Fair, from Chicago. And Rahul Tandon, our reporter in Calcutta, tells us what stories he is looking at.
