A Syrian-American doctor returns to his home country to help victims of the sectarian violence.
Dr Aref Rifai, a Syrian-American eye doctor describes his recent visit to Syria to operate on victims of that country鈥檚 civil war. Filipinos who fought alongside Americans in the Second World War were granted US citizenship, but some family members are still waiting to be reunited with them in America. The remains of a 16th century Spanish fort recently discovered in the US state of North Carolina serve as a reminder of a neglected period in America鈥檚 history.
