In 1588, the first translation of the entire Bible into Welsh, by Bishop William Morgan, was published. He was vicar of Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant at the time, but was born and brought up in T欧 Mawr Wybrnant, near Penmachno. A look around T欧 Mawr, and a little of the early history of William Morgan.
