Scaling the Shard
Brave or stupid? The protesters who climbed a London landmark to protest oil drilling.
Six Greenpeace protestors are arrested after climbing London's tallest building, the 1000 foot Shard. The protestors, all women, wanted to draw attention to oil giant Shell's aspirations to expand drilling in the Arctic. We ask whether they deserve admiration or scorn. Also what does the conviction of dead Russian lawyer Sergei Magnitsky for tax evasion tell us about the attitude of the Russian state towards corruption? And we discuss the challenges that bans on animal testing in Europe pose for companies that export their beauty products elsewhere. We're joined by Ben Simpfendorfer of Hong Kong-based Silk Road Associates and Canadian economist and consultant Ralph Silva.
