More than two thousand people descended on Sheffield for demos in the city centre last weekend. Five arrests were made following what started as a peaceful protest by the EDL to mark the death of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich. Around one thousand police were drafted in from across the country and had to separate the EDL and anti-fascist demonstrators in clashes which went on across the city throughout the day.
