Nicola Shindler: 'I was able to fight for a writer's vision'
Nicola Shindler worked on many popular TV dramas from Cracker to Our Friends in the North before starting one of Britain’s foremost independent TV production companies, Red Production in 1998. Since then, she has been responsible for bringing Queer as Folk, Scott and Bailey and Last Tango in Halifax to our screens. She is now one of the most influential people in TV drama in the UK.
