A home for disabled patients in Kosovo, and Russians on holiday in Egypt

Stories on a home for disabled and mentally ill patients in Kosovo, and a dispatch about Russians on holiday in Egypt. Presented by Pascale Harter.

Building is going on everywhere in Pristina, capital of Kosovo. Charmian Evans covered the Balkans conflict and the NATO bombing that forced Serb troops out of Kosovo and paved the way for a new nation to be created. Before the fifth anniversary of the country鈥檚 independence she returned to Europe鈥檚 newest capital city. She especially wanted to visit a home for the disabled and mentally ill. But are conditions there any better now that the country is at peace?

Also on the programme, our correspondent set out to get away from it all, to exchange the grey skies of winter in Britain for some quiet relaxation in sunnier climes. The problem for Olga Betko, though, was that she is a native Russian speaker, and grew up in the Soviet Union. And she soon found that her idea of a holiday was very different from that of her old compatriots.
