Xiao Ya – a traditional Chinese opera star (pt 2/3)
Part of being a successful singer is being a good businesswoman, and sometimes that means making personal sacrifices. Traditional opera singer Xiao Ya knows this all too well, but she is supported by her nephew and mother.
Xiao Ya and her musicians are on tour and making their way to Suzhou: a city of culture and high expectations. Once in Suzhou, preparations for the evening's show get underway, while Xiao Ya and her mother take time off for a restful stroll in a temple.
