Personal injury insurance fraud surveillance footage

Promising amateur footballer James Shikell was badly injured in a car accident in 2002. Because the car driver was uninsured, James Shikell made a 拢1.35 million claim for personal injury compensation to the Motor Insurer's Bureau.

In 2008 when James Shikell, believed to be in recovery, unexpectedly made a claim for further costs, the MIB decided to re-open the case. They called in undercover surveillance operatives.

The expert investigators found that far from requiring the house modifications and extra personal care he was now claiming for, Shikell had recovered from his injuries well enough to return to football - and had even recently been awarded man of the match.
