Communism in East Germany
The communist government in East Germany didn't like anyone challenging their views. Citizens were kept in line by force, and anyone who rebelled could be arrested and thrown into prison by the secret police, known as the Stasi. A former prisoner, now a tour guide, describes some of the Stasi's interrogation techniques.
