Yusif is a 15-year-old Iraqi boy now living in Syria. Although in Syria, he and his family have been waiting over five years for a visa allowing them to move to Canada. The uncertainty of his situation, coupled with the early exposure to war in Iraq, has left Yusif disengaged with his education in Syria, and he struggles to attend school.
