The Schubert Lab - Episode 1: Part 3
Tom Service presents the second part of the first episode of The Schubert Lab, where he aims to get to the bottom of the man and his music.
With the help of composer Christopher Fox and music copyist Susan Brodigan, Tom Service tries to answer today's question: How and why did Schubert physically create and write down nearly 22,000 bars of music in 1815?
We also hear Schubert's Diary from the time as imagined by John Crace and read by Ralf Little.
