In a short series for 麻豆社 Radio Solent, Bruce Parker taps into the south's rich history.

With the help of experts from across Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight and using 麻豆社 South鈥檚 archive.

This week the programme returns with an examination of the south鈥檚 Olympic connections.

Bruce visits Timsbury Manor near to Romsey and discovers the house was a training centre for the 1964 games.
