All Saints Choirs, Oundle International Festival and Charity Shops

John finds out about festive concerts coming up in Northampton, Helen Whitehurst talks about the Oundle International Festival and John looks at the fortunes of charity shops in tough economic times.

Lee Dunleavy, the Musical Director of the All Saints choirs in Northampton is in to talk to John. The choirs have a full schedule of concerts in the run up to Christmas and have released a CD of Christmas carols. Helen Whitehurst continues the musical theme, talking about a Baroque evening as part of the Oundle International Festival. With charity shops bucking the trend in tough economic times, John hears how the British Heart Foundation and RSPCA charity shops are doing and speaks to Vimal Shah from Oxfam to find out why they're doing so well. We hear what the children from Cranford Church of England School are doing to celebrate Christmas.
