Street light switch off

Street lights in Ipswich will be switched off or dimmed later this week. We report from Needham Market where the lights go off at midnight. And Paul Jewell and Tractor Boy on Town's weekend defeat.

Later this week street lights across parts of Ipswich will be turned off or dimmed overnight. Suffolk County Council hopes the move will help cut carbon emissions and save over 拢500,000 a year.

We report from Needham Market where the scheme has already been tried out. Plus county councillor Guy McGregor explains the thinking behind the decision.

Ipswich Town's first home game of the season ended in a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Hull. We get reaction from manager Paul Jewell, our 11-year-old mini pundit Tractor Boy and our fan on the phone.
