Bionic eye patients
Two years ago, Inside Out London reported on the start of a pioneering trial at Moorfields Eye Hospital in which completely blind patients were fitted with bionic eyes which gave them the first glimmerings of vision.
Now, Matthew Wright returns to Moorfields to catch up on the patients' progress and find out what the hopes are for the future of this radical technology.
