Should teenagers be paid to attend sixth form or college?

Currently 16 to 18-year-olds living in households earning less than 拢30,800-a-year get a grant - known as Education Maintenance Allowance and worth up to 拢30-a-week - to continue their education.

At the moment, 16 to 18-year-olds living in households earning less than 拢30,800-a-year can get a grant to continue full-time education.

The grant - known as Education Maintenance Allowance - can be worth between 拢10 and 拢30-a-week.

Later today MPs will debate a motion for the government to reconsider its plans to scrap EMA.
