Ulster-Scots drama in Moneyreagh
We listen to an extract from the Ulster-Scots Agency’s ‘Fair Faa Ye’ project in Moneyreagh Primary School and hear from two of the three actors; Declan Burney and Saoirse Shanahan.
School Principal, Roy Greer, has an interest in bringing Ulster-Scots culture into the mainstream and tells Liam Logan that he thinks schools should embrace this culture.
He says the play gives teachers an angle for bringing Ulster-Scots into the classroom and that the children really enjoy the performance. (Broadcast: 24 Mar 2007)
