1737 Letter from New York to Aughnacloy
Will McAvoy reads a letter, written in 1737 by James Murray, from America鈥檚 New York colony to the Reverend Baptist Boyd in Aughnacloy. Professor Michael Montgomery of the University of South Carolina has been studying this letter and, on the telephone, he tells Conal about its history and how Murray was trying to lure some family members to join him in America.
