Willie Drennan at the Edinburgh Fringe
Conal Gillespie is at the Edinburgh Festival for the annual Fringe which, for the first time, features an Ulster-Scots show called ‘Frae Lang Syne’. Willie Drennan, Gareth Fulton and John Trotter were there – and Willie kept an audio diary. We hear about his visit to the Fringe box office and about the positive reviews of the play, as well as about the ‘banning’ of the bagpipes and complaints about the noise of the Lambegs! (Broadcast 5th September 2004)
