Victoria Wood appeals on behalf of the Mines Advisory Group (MAG)
Victoria Wood travels to Laos and discovers how the Mines Advisory Group (MAG) is working to reduce the threat of unexploded weapons in war torn communities. Most of us have heard of the Vietnam war in which the US military attempted to stop the spread of communism throughout parts of South East Asia. What鈥檚 less well known is the White House also staged a covert war in neighbouring Laos- a war so secret that even congress didn鈥檛 know. During the 9 year conflict Laos became one of the most bombed countries in history and its legacy continues to threaten the lives of the people who live there today. Victoria Wood appeals on behalf of the Mines Advisory Group, a UK charity that removes the threat of unexploded weapons in war torn communities. Please donate, by calling 0161 236 4311 or by going to the website: maginternational.org
If you鈥檇 like to send a donation, please make your cheque payable to MAG, and send it to Lifeline, Freepost, MAG.
