Friday's show - hand-me-downs and journeys
Does your family use hand-me-downs? Plus, what was the last journey you actually enjoyed?
Ian Duncan-Smith is calling for families to recycle clothes and toys more - especially those families on low incomes. Did/does your family use hand-me-downs? How many siblings wore the same t-shirt? How did children feel about "sharing" clothes and toys?
Plus, Ryanair is considering a new way of travelling by plane - standing up! Passengers would perch on a shelf and lean against a padded backboard. Would you like to travel this way? Bearing in mind how cramped air travel is (unless you upgrade!) and how you will soon be charged to use the loo (?!), when was the last time you actually enjoyed a journey. Before the age of budget airlines, surely getting from A to B was more enjoyable?
