Stag morning
It's early morning and Bill Oddie is in London's biggest nature reserve - Richmond Park. There are red deer here and some rather splendid stags around - some have more than 12 points. There are also fallow deer, which are smaller than the reds and have spots. Red deer are a native British species, but the fallows were brought in by the Normans. An awful lot of London's wildlife has been introduced, some of it a long time ago, and some quite recently. Bill sees a young little owl, another species introduced into these parks.
