City hogs
Hedgehogs are fussy little creatures, that won't move into a back garden unless things are just right. Firstly they need large territories, not just one garden, they need at least 12 of our average suburban patches to call their own. A whole street of gardens with no real barriers is just perfect. But if walls and fences get in the way, the hedgehogs are forced to take a much riskier route along footpaths and roads. It's importnant to think like an animal in the way we plan our gardens, and if we do then the mutual rewards will be much greater: the animals will move in and hopefully we will get a glimpse of them.
