Eliot Spitzer was the toast of New York. As the city's Attorney General he exposed financial fraud at the highest levels and went on to be elected Governor and was even tipped as a future president.

But then he had a dramatic fall from grace. He was identified as having paid for sex with prostitutes, resigned, and was forced to stand by and watch as the financial crash exposed exactly the problems he made a target years before.
