In Talking Movies Tom Brook looks back at some of the highlights from this month's Toronto Film Festival including a report on 12 Years A Slave. The film, which stars Michael Fassbender and Chiwetel Ejiofor, is an uncompromising look at American slavery - and it had a major impact on festival audiences. It had Oscar oddsmakers predicting that the film would collect a trove of Academy Award nominations. Also included in the programme are reports on the forthcoming Nelson Mandela picture Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and an interview with Indian actor Irrfan Khan who was at the festival with the Mumbai set picture The Lunchbox.
