Poet Daljit Nagra revisits the 麻豆社's poetry archive and selects Poetry Please: Wendy Cope in a programme where she joins Roger McGough to share a selection of her favourite poems from listeners' requests. And Daljit reads from his Poetry Extra Book of the Month - Collected Poems by Wendy Cope.

Wendy's choices in Poetry Please include requests for poems by A E Housman, Philip Larkin, W H Auden, Fleur Adcock, Edna St Vincent Millay and Charles Causley.

Wendy Cope has published several volumes of poetry including Making Cocoa for Kingsley Amis and Serious Concerns. A remarkable talent for parody and for using humour to address grave topics, she also recites some of her poetry from her collection, Anecdotal Evidence.
