Oxford International Song Festival
Former and current members of the Radio 3 New Generation Artist scheme perform dance-inspired songs from Schumann to Lutos艂awski, concluding with Brahms鈥檚 Liebeslieder Walzer
The Oxford International Song Festival celebrates 25 years of the Radio 3 New Generation Artists scheme, with members past and present. Elizabeth Watts and Kathryn Rudge are joined by current members Santiago Sanchez, James Atkinson and Michael Pandya. Oxford Song鈥檚 Artistic Director Sholto Kynoch joins the party in a programme that takes a whirlwind tour of dance-inspired songs by composers from Robert and Clara Schumann to Witold Lutos艂awski, before concluding with Brahms鈥檚 exuberant Liebeslieder Walzer.
