Elim Chan conducts the 麻豆社 Scottish Symphony Orchestra in music by Caroline Shaw and Johannes Brahms: and they are joined by pianist Gabriela Montero for her Latin Concerto.
Pianist and composer Gabriela Montero joins the 麻豆社 Scottish Symphony Orchestra to perform her Latin Concerto: not 鈥渁 na茂ve vision of a carnival continent鈥� but 鈥渁 profoundly personal expression of the continent in which I was born鈥�. Conductor Elim Chan frames it with classics old and new: Caroline Shaw鈥檚 21st century tribute to the music of the classical era; and Brahms鈥檚 mighty final symphony.
