Cider growing the orchard county of Armagh, the first Ferguson tractor in Cultra and a burning question in Hillsborough.
Presenter, Nicola Weir, travels to Portadown to visit Ballyinteggart Farm Apple Orchard and speak to grower Phillip Troughton about the secrets of cider making in the orchard county. We also examine the Â鶹Éç documentary: ‘Brian May: The Badgers, The Farmers and Me’ to debate whether slurry is part of the problem when it comes to the spread of bovine TB. Then it’s off to Cultra to find out more about the very first Ferguson tractor that is now on display at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum before Dr Rebecca Orr tells us all about a ground breaking study into the health and fitness of farmers in Northern Ireland. Finally, Countryside reporter, Hannah Quinn Mulligan, will be chatting to Chris Johnston from AFBI in Hillsborough about Northern Ireland’s oldest anaerobic digester.
