Christian Wolff, 90 this year, is the last living representative of the so-called New York School of composition, a group that included John Cage, Morton Feldman, Earle Brown and David Tudor. Tonight Tom Service introduces two of his works specially recorded at the Music We'd Like to Hear series in London: Duo 8 and For Bob. The programme also includes a major work by Éliane Radigue, Occam Océan Cinquanta, her first composition for symphony orchestra. Plus, music by Georgia Koumará, Nilufar Habibian, Alex Paxton and Frank Zappa.
